Autotools - Autotools is the general name given to the set of build tools common in unix development today. These tools include GNU autoconf, GNU automake, aclocal, configure, autogen.

Automake - GNU Automake is a programming tool that produces portable makefiles for use by the make program, used in compiling software. It is made by the Free Software Foundation as one of GNU programs, and is part of the GNU build system.

Libtool - GNU Libtool is a GNU programming tool from the GNU build system used for creating portable software libraries.
